Incredible presentation showing through neuroscience the function of left and right brains (yin and yang energies).
The video demonstrates very well the end goal of so-called spiritualists who seek a meditative single-point feeling of “nirvana and oneness with everything as energy”.
Note how the right-brain description reveals yin energy that whilst blissful, is completely dysfunctional for human survival.
Spiritualists who focus too far in the yin desire to escape the responsibilities of life by entering that right-brain ‘spaced-out’ loss of self-identity and human function.
The video also shows how too much focus into the left-brain (masculine yang energy) prevents emotional and creative experience and expression.
‘Balance’ does not mean being held at a central point between those 2 poles. Balance means being able to utilise both appropriately.
Whether male or female, there are times (every day) when we must use more:
- Masculine energy (left-brain yang) for rational identification and focus-directed action… and times to use more… Masculine essence means “to stand in consciousness and not be lost in events”.
- Feminine energy (right-brain yin) for creative wonder and expression.
Feminine Yin and Masculine Yang Energies
The “receptive yin and the active yang” creates a dynamic energetic interplay that spans every level of the universe.
In terms of human life and experience I call the 2 sides:
- Value Creation (predominantly left-brain yang masculine energy focus of manifestation), and
- Value Reflection (predominantly right-brain yin feminine energy openness to emotional experience and expression)
