Personality Development

by Gavriel Shaw

No matter your direction in life, a pleasing personality will bring you faster success and more personal satisfaction.

There are many books on Amazon for personality development.  A good tip is to find situations that you both like and dislike, and jot down the ideal personality that you would have for different situations, and then put yourself into situations you like and dislike and experiment and play with developing a pleasing personality.

Theories of Personality Development

You can take a personality type test, and dig into the details of interpersonal relationship psychology to a greater or lesser degree depending on… well… your personality.

You see, we are all drawn to the level of learning or study or experimentation or practice or ‘just getting on with it’ that our personality traits dictate.

Personality development comes from a mixture of early life experience, general life experience, training, and our self-reflections and choices over a long period of time that mould our reactions, capacities, and preferences.

Personality development is a vital part of the Preparation section for professional and career development.

Charisma And Influence

Your charisma may be the key to getting anything you want.

The way your look, the way you behave, and the words you use… all combine into your personal power and ability to influence.

Verbal Influence

Here are the opening bullet points of a program for learning conversational influence that I am going to order for myself.

Influence anyone to follow your lead
Get clients & customers to buy from you
Command new respect with everyone
Negotiate with stellar success
Compel colleagues to do what you suggest
Get just about anyone to say “Yes”
Have children & teens obey your commands
Keep your lover(s) eternally loyal

Sounds interesting. Check it out at Conversational Hypnosis.
