Modern Digital Marketing

I don’t like convention. But I do like principles. I follow the proven principles of copywriting established during the 1900s by the early copywriting greats, mixed with modern Internet processes.

Note: I no longer produce ATL ‘creative’ style ‘brand advertising’ in advertising agency style… graphic rich with big creative slogans. Having worked with a brand advertising agency I simply can’t stand that kind of advertising. I beat their e-mail broadcast 610% generating 61 applications compared to their 10, and the Marketing Director said ‘oh you might have something here’.

My approach to Direct Response Marketing combines advertising insight that stretches back to the early 1900s… and integrates that with the emergent psychology of the Internet.

The Internet has emerged with a new buying culture. People expect clear yet detailed information, more variety, faster answers.

Your company and product credibility can be more difficult to establish. People often simply want Free information. Old copywriting/advertising techniques do not translate perfectly to the Internet environment. Both the search engines and your visitors need to get the specific info they need to favour your site/offer above competitors (the balance can be difficult and is critical).
