"Whatever deceives men seems to produce a magical enchantment."
What did he mean? What was he inferring?
Was he suggesting things that capture our imagination might be doing so out of an effect of them being lies and false beliefs?
That quote gave me a chuckle.
It's so true. That 'we' (of course I mean my-self here) can have many 'projects' that are not really progressing, and 'we' get frustrated by a lack of progress, only to hide the truth that the slow progress is a direct result of not actually working on the project very much.
