3. Gathering Intent (p1)

by Gavriel Shaw

“Good questions include “How can I get X?” “How can I do X?” “How can I be X?” By asking these kinds of questions, you get your mind to focus on what you want to have, do, or be.” – Bill Harris

Wow! You have come a long way already, covered two of the four components of creating fulfillment in your life. This publication Gathering Intent will now give you the background understanding and the precise tools required to hone your personalized system of acquiring and creating your Identified Intent.

“Explore daily your deepest desires, fantasies and motives, gradually focussing on what you would like to happen in a perfect world, a perfect situation, taking away all restrictions and practical considerations, what you’d really want. Then decide to… do it.”  – Thee Temple Ov Psychick Youth

“In order to accomplish the feat of heightening our perception, we need internal energy. Thus, the problem of making internal energy available to fulfill such a task becomes the key issue for students of sorcery.” – Carlos Castaneda

“Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.”

”The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn; the bird waits in the egg. And in the highest vision of a soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities.” – James Allen

“…Dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.” - Edgar Allan Poe- The Raven

“The person who, at the beginning of a new dream, being cognizant of a rough past makes a pledge to him/herself that he/she will achieve that dream, with purpose and full command, will evoke a tear of joy from the great minds in the universe and will from that moment on live in tune with them” – Gil Magno

Control

“Freedom means self-control; no more, no less.” – Rose Wilder Lane

“The essence of conscious life is control” – Neo-Tech

“All we can do from birth to death is behave. All behavior is total behavior and is made up of four inseparable components: acting, thinking, feeling, and physiology… All total behavior is chosen, but we have direct control over only the acting and thinking components. We can, however, control our feelings and physiology indirectly through how we choose to act and think”. – Ten Axioms of Choice Theory

DTC Method: By using discipline and thought, we come to control becoming ever increasingly impeccable in moving towards fulfilling our intent via creation.

‘Discipline’, ‘Thought’, and ‘Control’ are the reductionist symbols of how we can act and think. DTC means conducting one’s self impeccably, to be impeccable, and to choose each moment between acquiring / utilising / replenishing power, or dissipating / wasting / draining power, on your journey through time.

What will happen through the continual gathering of my intent?

Your Thoughts

You will start to notice that your interests and mind’s attention begins to shift. Away from life diminishing and wasting things, to searching for more value for your life and loved one’s.

You will start to see blockages in your self, your environment, and in society. You will start to think differently to most others around you.

By becoming more self-honest we can more clearly identify what areas of our lives we need to increase our focus on. We will also understand far far more, the more self-honest that we become. For honesty is in harmony with nature. Thus you will develop an uncanny ability to understand and then know so much so easily and so quickly. Other peoples’ problems will seem so trivial and such a waste of energy.

Your Actions

You actions will alter as a result of the change in your thoughts.

Unhealthy addictions and activities will reduce:

  • You will drink less cups of unhappiness (coffee),
  • you will take less metabolism destroying drugs (e.g. sugar),
  • you will come off the alcohol.
  • Greatly reduced TV viewing
  • Etc.

These ‘stimulants’ will not be needed as you will find new and natural stimulants.
You will become fitter, slimmer, healthier, more attractive, more composed.
You will achieve more, in work, relationships, and play.

Your Feelings

In youth is where we experience the most exhilaration, the most learning, the most happiness and excitement. Larger-than-life experiences and care-free joys.

By living in honesty of our thoughts and feelings, we become free, able to exist in a psychuous zone of intense bodily and mental pleasures unknown to others.

I’m certain that you can reflect internally and at least vaguely remember a time when you felt really good inside, really right with the universe. You can have those feelings back again, and in full force… you WILL have them, and they will be abundant.

Core Aspects

Gathering Intent requires grouping together what Flame calls Core Aspects plus choosing Physical Actions that relate to those Core Aspects which are the steps of fulfilling your intent.

Below Flame illustrates the general Core Aspects of fulfilling intent. This represents the essential (core) aspects to a Life of Magic; fulfilling all your desires and needs. This is a generalized blue-print that can help you to make sense of and organize your projects and activities.

Tension Resolution

Robert Fritz teaches the principle of structural tension; that in any structured system, there is a tension that seeks resolution. When we identify a desired reality, and then identify the current reality in respect to the desired reality, we create a structure with tension. Gathering Intent fills in the gaps and steps to snap us from our current life into the life of fulfillment that we pictured in the Identify Intent publication.

The following Chapters review those steps within the above Chart.

Physical

  • Abundant Secure Environment
  • Creative Expression
  • Relationships / Family

Abundant Secure Environment

Wealth

  • Investments and Business/Career
  • Desired location’s of residence

Security

  • Internet cyber-cash, digital-economy, privacy, encryptography, Offshore Trusts, IBC’s, citizenship’s, surfing anonymisers, fully owned property, etc
  • Debt free
  • Supportive environment

Creative Expression

‘…you help your landlady carry out her garbage’ – Agent Smith, The Matrix

Creation

“After we have come to love ourselves unconditionally, after we have handled our integrity issues, after we have sorted out our essence from our personas, and after we have learned to handle our fears, we are faced with brining forth the fullness of ourselves. In many ways, this is the ultimate challenge.” – Gay Hendricks

“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” – George Bernard Shaw

It is important to return our focus to THE point of Processing. Processing is done only to free us from the limitations to the fulfilment of our intent; to remove internal and external blockages; to obsolete failure.

What is the end result… or rather, what is it to ‘fulfil ones intent’, what are the blockages blocking.

Why creation

As per the Self-Leader section: A value is anything consciously done to fulfil human biological needs, including physical, mental, and emotional.

All our creations are directed to provide those values. The broadest principle of acquiring and creating values is in expanding our ‘health’. Our physical and psychological health becomes the focal point of everything we experience.

A very simple ‘equation’ for Happiness is:

Value Creation + Value Reflection = Happiness

The goal of happiness with its exhilaration, equanimity, and love is experienced through our value reflections. Our value reflections are the reflections we have of the values that are in our lives. And values are only ever in our life because we have created them.

We have either created the necessary philosophical/psychological code of values, thus we can easily reflect on them, or we have taken physically active steps to produce, create, and acquire values.

Hence, creation is ‘manifesting intent’.

Very simple, but very important! There is always a danger of becoming disconnected again from our matrix of value’s and so we may get caught up in psychological clearing techniques, and self-help flim-flam that entangles us in our addictions and conditioning, and we simply become addicted to ‘personal development’ or ‘self-help’ programs, which does not actually free us from our blockages.

“Approaches that purport to be about bringing a more satisfying life to the uninitiated view people as plagued by problems that can be solved only by uncovering their deep-seated conflicts. Other approaches by positive affirmations, positive thinking… None of these approaches address the real creative process.” – Robert Fritz

“No amount of therapy will teach you how to play the piano… If self-confidence is based on real competence, then there might be a good reason for experiencing self-confidence. If self-confidence is based on brainwashing one into delusions of adequacy – which it often is – then the reality of the current state of competence is left far behind.” – Robert Fritz

Once we are clear, we create!

With each new area of clarity of mind and emotion we acquire, a new creative area opens for us.

As our mindfulness increases and we clear ourselves of many of our internal blockages and addictions through Processing, we shall start to create more value in our life, and be absorbed by it and the wonder’s that it brings. Hence mindfulness shifts from being mindful of emotional problems and limiting blockages to mindfulness of the good feeling’s experienced in the creation of life.

Clearing our blockages opens the doors to discipline, thought, and control; the mechanism of creation.

Relationships / Family

Your Relationships

Brutus said in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar: “There is not terror, Cassius, in your threats: for I am armed so strong in honesty that they pass by me as the idle wind which I respect not.”

You will reject those that hold you down, that try to diminish you and your life, just because they are jealous or envious of your appreciation for life.

The only people who have anything to fear from honesty are the dishonest – NT

You will foster genuinely valuable relationships with people who support your growing love of life and achievement’s. Your friendships and romantic relationships will take on new dimension’s of appreciation and gratitude, closeness and intimacy.

Mental

The mental realm has been divided into three components: Mindfulness, Intelligence, and Character.

Mindfulness is the minute to minute awareness of what we are doing, who we are being, what we are experiencing.

Intelligence is the power of our mind to think clearly and widely

Character is the integrity that we possess toward living a good life: moving toward our highest values.

The 3 Keys to a Life of Magic

The 3 Keys that actually give you lasting control:  ‘Not just hype or hoohaa’.

Learn the 3 keys that are either hidden within other systems, not explicitly identified, nor are not contained together in the same sources.

This has meant that you are either (a) put off by Personal Development programs, or (b) attend/read some, take much inspiration, but come away with stunted tools to actually achieve what you want.

Do you relate to that feeling of being inspired but held back by not having been given ALL the ‘keys’ to success?
Goal Setting is often taught or done without the use of these 3 keys, thus that type of ‘goal setting’ will not work.  In CCD Module 1 we make those 3 Keys explicit.  We explain what they are, why they are the ONLY 3 essential keys, and precisely HOW to use them… This system took fully 3 years to uncover in full naked clarity.  You will now have your hands on it in just a few minutes!

Simplicity

Occams Razor explains that the simplest explanation is often the best.

Problems of Goal Setting

Jack Zufelt in his program ‘Unleash the Conquering Force’ explains that most people do not benefit from normal goal setting. Jack goes so far as to say one should not set goals; we should only do what we have a burning desire to do.

This has merit, but also cuts the corners of the most powerful understanding.

What Jack is showing is that people set goals just as a mental exercise and lack the follow-through motivation to actually take proper action. Now this I agree with. And not setting goals but just going for what you really have a burning desire for will help many people overcome their stagnation.

However, at some point, and not that far away, a person who accesses this core desire motivation will either become neurotically obsessive (this is better than stagnating in boredom) or will fizzle out because they don’t have the discipline, effort, or time commitment to achieve great desires (‘goals’).

Cutting Corners: The Jack Zufelt Example

I would recommend Jack Zufelt’s program only after considerable study of the likes of Tony Robins, Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, Randy Gage, Frank R Wallace, etc. Much more value for your dollar will be gained than from Zufelt’s program.

Not intending to disparage Zufelt as he is very successful with a lot of good teachings and I would love to speak with him one day, I use him as an example of how certain corners can be cut even unintentionally. Zufelt cross-wired Key 3 with Key 1, thus creating an interesting dynamic that allowed him to leave out Key 2 because he had enough stimulating information to benefit people.

A similar ‘cutting off corners’ exists in most Personal Development; Personal Control; Life Achievement systems.
This Life of Magic course lays some very simple yet very effectively powerful foundations for you to assemble your OWN matrix of who you are and what to do.

Finally you will carry THE Keys with you at all times, and be able to use them whenever you want to.

The bottom line

We certainly should set goals, otherwise we will be too narrow and short-ranged in our drive and perspectives.

By not setting goals and just going for your burning desire, you leave out Key no. 2.

Goals must be formulated using the 3 Keys.

By setting goals but not accessing your burning core desires, you leave out Key no. 1.

By lacking in either of those two Keys, you will not have Key no. 3 in sufficient supply.

So just exactly what are the 3 Keys, and how do they work?

The 3 Keys

The Primary colours of red, yellow, and blue, make up every possible hue and shade of every colour in the spectrum.

Similarly, the 3 Life Creation Keys make up every possible hue and shade of every type of life, accomplishment, laziness or failure possible.

By learning to control and use these keys, you can blend them together in any way you wish to build any life or career that you want.
Key 1: Desire
Key 2: Mindfulness
Key 3: Willingness

The 3 Keys unlock the 2 Vaults: Creativity and Happiness

Key 1: Desire

What do you want?

If you don’t have a target, then you won’t be able to hit it, will you?!

Consider the archer. The archer has a target, that bullseye, red and round, far off in the distance.

He pulls, but not that much, and lets the arrow fly, arching downwards, falling to the ground into the grass with a twang.
What went wrong? The archer didn’t pull back with enough effort, he didn’t concentrate on his aim enough. Sure he had the desire of hitting the bull’s-eye, but it wasn’t vivid, it wasn’t a strong desire.

Your desires must be strong enough for you to really genuinely want to achieve them. Otherwise, what are they worth?

Identify your Desires

Key 1 in developing your Creative Career and Life is to establish what things you desire, vividly, that are potent and inspiring and stirring and burning for you.

We will establish this for you starting in Module [4: See It Big]

Key 2: Mindfulness

So then. If we have identified lots of desires, what happens then. For most people, unfortunately, what happens is a trailing off flurry of activity, or perhaps just a vague picture of activity.

And even if the Desire is strong, and even if the person has a certain degree of Key 3 (Willingness), it may exist as a frustratingly unrealised dream because the person never knew to develop their awareness, their knowledge… their Mindfulness (Key 2).

They may never have appreciated the time commitment (including project management / goal seting) required to elevate their burning desire and enthusiastic willingness into a gradual accumulation of accomplishments and understanding.

Awareness

If Desire is to identify what you want, Mindfulness is to reflect on that previous identification. Or to ‘remember’ what you want, or be and stay mindful of it.

To always be mindful of what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, what you could do, what you want to do next are vital aspects to moving forwards in fulfilling your Creative Career and Life.
Module 5: KIS explores how you can stay mindful of your Big Dreams and identified purpose in moving bit-by-bit towards your desired reality.

Key 3: Willingness

Willingness arrives the moment that thought develops the necessary energy for action.

How badly do you want your desires?

Turning that Spanner

Nathan Hurst knew exactly what needed to be done to rebuild this old covertible white ’64 Corvette. He had been on a classic car refurb course, and had the garage and tools to do it. He really really really had a strong desire to drive around in this fully reconditioned beauty, achieveing one of his life time dreams.

He picked up the spanner, looked at the rusty fender, and felt a slight tremor as his muscles lost their energy and his arm slumped down to his side.

Apathy had set in, he felt drained. His willingness to start work on the car was practically zero. The bright lively warmth of the house tugged on his attention. It was 11pm, finally he was ready to get to work on the car he picked up last week, after his busy day he was very tired. He WANTED (Key 1: Desire) to start on his car, he KNEW (Key 2: Mindfulness) what to do first, but he just didn’t have the DRIVE (Key 3: Willingness) to do it.

Placing the spanner on the work surface, walking to the door, he looked over the garage and accepted that today he didn’t feel like it, and he switched off the garage light.
What is willingness?

When you are actually prepared to act on a desire, you are actually willing to participate, do it, carry it out, rather than just ‘wanting to’.

The Difference between the 3 Keys

The technical stuff:

A problem in the above is that Desire and Willingness are too easily confused.

(As a side note: This confusion can be much like the confusion of understanding the difference between honesty and truth. Truth can be viewed as a static-cyclical dogmatically held ‘irrefutable error’. Honesty can be viewed as an open-linear process that advances beyond current boundaries with ever increasing integration. This distinction is vital to controlling your mind. Feel the distinction and ask yourself often the question: ‘Am I being closed-and-truthful, or open-and-honest?’)

Why in the above example would we say that Nathan Hurst had the desire to work on his car even though he didn’t actually work on it?

We are looking for the most advantageous mental technology, and separating the 3 Keys gives us this.

By considering that we live in a long time scale, our multiple desires can exist at different levels of intensity as regarding the present. Different desires can be held for different circumstances, settings, or times.

A desire becomes acted upon once it becomes a burning desire to be accomplished or acted on right now. That is willingness.
Nathan still had the desire to work on the car. In fact it was a burning desire. However people are not as simple as this.

Nathan was tired, he wanted the warmth of his home, with the liveliness of the people who were there. These other things were also desires, and they were also burning. Nathan decided that out of his options, given his level of tiredness that day, was not willing to act on his desire of working on the car, and instead was more willing to involve himself in the social environment in his home.

Whenever we get a key cut, say for a house, it often feels a little awkward using it at first doesn’t it? But in a short while it loses it’s new sharp edges, and moulds to your use. Similarly, the 3 Keys of a Life of Magic also need to be worked into your mental mold.

The clear distinction of Desire and Willingness will develop the more you use the keys. But hopefully you will be able to appreciate what I am explaining here.

Ranges of the Creative Process: ‘Wood for the Trees’
Using the long/medium/short-range concept from the Creative Process we can understand the 3 Keys like this.

Desire = the long-range position of being outside the forest, wanting some timber wood, hence wanting to cut down a tree.

Mindfulness = the medium position of knowing how to chop the tree, and knowing what size tree you want.

Willingness = walking into the forest (short-range), locating a suitable tree, and deciding to actually chop it down.

Indeed there may be a fine line distinguishing these things, and they inevitably blend as one ongoing widening, interlocking process.

Section Summary

To re-cap, we have now uncovered the 3 vital concepts that give us the foundations to create any and all progress in every area of our life.

With a reduction in any of the Keys usage, our progress will be massively stunted. With practice, simply by thinking about The 3 Keys as you work on your Life projects and Creative Career, you will easily see what areas you need more focus on, and what to act on next.

The Life of Magic Formula

D.Q + S&C – 4F = VC+VR

Intent + Mindfulness x Willingness = VC + VR

In Module 3 you will learn the definitions of the components to The Life of Magic Formula.

This is the Life Control and Fulfilment formula for creating the universe that you want around you.

  • We will explain what each letter and symbol means
  • This Module builds on top of what you’ve learnt in Module 1
  • You will have deep psychological understanding that you could never have gotten by reading other Personal Development sources.  This goes right to the core

Open the Vaults

In Module 2 we learned The 3 Keys of Desire, Mindfulness, and Willingness. Each vital to our success.

Well let’s establish now what we mean by ‘success’, and embed The 3 Keys into some kind of pattern or formula.

In our Life and Career, success is the measure of how valuable things are that we cause or create, coupled with the level of happiness that those creations give us.

Two Vaults

So there are two vaults, two treasure troves to be unlocked by using The 3 Keys:

  • The first vault is our Creative Life and Career.
  • The second vault is our Happiness

Desire + Mindfulness + Willingness = Creative Career and Happiness.

This sets the stage for The Life of Magic Formula.

The Life of Magic Formula

D.Q + S&C – 4F = VC+VR

D.Q

This stands for Digital Questions. The dot ‘.’ Inbetween the D and Q represents the bit-by-bit nature of Digital Thought.

Digital Thought is a method of thinking in which we control every next thought and link it in a controlled developing way to move us towards ‘success’.

Digital Questions represents an array of questions that we can ask to give us Mindfulness over the widest vision and the smallest nitty-gritty detail.

For example: Nathan Hurst wants to refurbish the ’64 Corvette. How should he go about doing this? What tools does he need? When will he do each bit? How long will each bit take? And so on. By simply asking ourselves many many questions, we can easily control our Mindfulness. The first Key.

+S&C

From the vantage point of knowing clearly our desires by using Digital Questions to identify them; we must take that abstract picture and make it solidly controllable.

We add a structured system to control our projects, goals, dreams, desires.

+S&C stands for ‘Plus Structure and Control’.

The Folderarchy I-course shows you the precise system using your computer to control every single detail of your life that you want to. It teaches that our ‘Self’ is made up of everything we Act, Think, and Feel. Those are the only three categories that make up EVERYTHING that you EVER do. With Folderarchy, you can finally control it all.

-4F

There are actually few reasons that we do not achieve what we want.

In fact, there are only 4 main reasons.

  • Laziness
  • Lack of Knowledge
  • Suppression
  • Time

So –4F means the reduction, subtraction, and elimination of the 4 causes of failure.

By reducing those causes of failure, you will take wing to manifesting your identified desires by using mindfulness, structure, and control, coupled with your willingness to act.
Any career, any life, can be yours, once you eliminate the things that block your path.

Note: The fourth cause of failure (time) changes to merely a patience game once the other 3 causes are reduced/eliminated.

VC+VR

As identified above, success is the overall focus. And this was equated with a life and career of creativity coupled with joyous happiness.

VC symbolises Value Creation (the source of happiness)
VR symbolises Value Reflection (the experience of happiness)

Summary

VC and VR are the result of

  • D.Q (identified desire and Mindfulness through Digital Questions)
  • plus S&C (a structured and controlled way of life)
  • minus 4F (the causes of failure)

Thus flows a Life of Magic.
