Nutrition and Supplements
Physical nutrition comes from 4 key groups:
- Food
- Supplements
- Water
- Light
Food
Dark green vegetables gives me needed phytonutrients that aren’t available else where.
Tip: If it ain’t in your fridge, it’s not likely to get eaten. Make sure you have eaten healthily and to satisfaction BEFORE you go food shopping, so that you are not overly tempted to drop sugary unhealthy foods into the basket. Therefore when you get home you will have a healthier selection, making it far easier to stay on a health conscious diet.
Supplements
Today’s farming methods give practically no bio-active vitamins or minerals. And most pills aren’t absorbed.
Eating foods low in nutrients due to depleted over farmed soils often means that many essential minerals are not obtained in our normal diet, yet they are critical for health. Dr. Linus Pauling, winner of two Nobel prizes, said,
“You can trace every sickness, every disease, and every ailment to a mineral deficiency .”
I can get 4 hours sleep whilst using high quality supplements and feel like I used to feel before using these products whilst getting 7 hours sleep. They make an incredible difference to my life, and I highly recommend them to anyone feeling that they are doing most things right, but still don’t feel that spark of feeling fully awake, alert, and fresh.
Organize Tip: Supplements do you no good left in the fridge/cupboard, so you need a basic mechanism to remind you consistently to take them. Keep a little measuring cup on top of your fridge, so it’s easy to get into the habit of grabbing it, filling it, and glugging down that good stuff.
Water
Don’t drink tap water… Best is to filter water yourself with a Reverse Osmosis Filter. Next best is to buy mineral or spring water in glass bottles (to avoid drinking plastic hydrocarbons).
Light
Sunlight allows the body to generate Vitamin D. Philips GoLite is recommended if you don’t get regular exposure to strong sun.
The CAS diet : No Caffeine, Alcohol, or Sugar.
When I stick to that type of diet, I feel best. I never have caffeine, rarely have alcohol, and I haven’t yet eliminated sugar from my diet satisfactorily, but I will do in time.
Second to the CAS diet, I have mostly eliminated Milk , and when I do buy Milk, I always get Organic, so as to avoid the growth stimulants and stuff that they give to the cows. I eat less processed foods, as they are mostly ‘empty’ of nutrition, providing only calories, rather than nutrients.
